The CQM1H features Inner Boards that allow simple positioning, multi-point high-speed counter inputs, absolute rotary encoder inputs, analog I/O, analog settings, and serial communications for connection to standard serial devices. Select Inner Boards to customize the PLC's capabilities for your applications.

Communications

Build a distributed control system with the high-speed, high capacity Controller Link System

Through Controller Link Network, it is easy to manage a distributed control system from a central location to gather and share operating data, production progress at each machine, and quality data. It offers the convenience of remote monitoring and maintenance on the PLC operation and application program/data. The CQM1H Control Link Unit is able to support automatic data link and event message communication with OMRON PLCs such as CS1 series, C200HX/HG/HE, CV Series PLCs.

Improve Communication Compatibility with the Serial Communication Board

Connections can be easily made to general-purpose machine components and dedicated controllers. The Serial Communications Board (an Inner Board) supports protocol macros. You can create macros for protocols to match the communications specifications of an external device, allowing data transfer with devices such as temperature controllers and bar code readers to be executed with a single PMCR instruction in PLC program.

Establish High-speed/Long-distance Fieldbus Communications with CompoBus/S and DeviceNet

Suitable for small-sized equipment for high-precision temperature control, which is opened and closed frequently. An effective operation can be achieved.
A wealth of monitoring and setting methods greatly improve the HMI

Applies Programming Devices and Programmable Terminals (PTs) can be connected to up to 4 ports. You can set up and monitor machine control from a PT while monitoring or programming from a Programming Console or a personal computer. It is even possible to monitor and program the PLC remotely from a personal computer connected through modem to heat sealing of non-perishable food box.
